NWH won’t be happy with you , it’s supposed to just us cold water users that’s panicking ;D
-
5k on a new hot system and you're already losing a weeks work because it's cold? ;D
-
Saying I can work in sub zero temperatures with a hot system is true, but from a customers perspective they are generally not happy to have water sloshed around their house when it will freeze.

Had today off.
I'm just in the middle of fitting an immersion so reckon I'll be keen to try it out tomorrow in any blizzard.
Can't believe you spent all that money on a diesel heater daz only to have the week off at the first sign of freezing temps ;D ;D
-
Im out working. ;D
We are just work slaves here in Surrey, not like you bunch 'up north' living life of Riley with your brand new golf GTD's, weights, and low rent. ;D

true but its not that that worries me.....
its getting stuck in the snow with half a ton of water in the back of my van....or sliding into another vehicle...its not worth it when theres snow and ice on the ground....

its the snow and ice thats stopping me adam.i dont fancy driving my van with 500l in the back in this....
-
i normally have a week off in spring anyway and sort stuff out(van, equipment, flat etc).im just taking it a bit earlier this year! :)
-
But didn't you just spend a wadge so you could work in the cold?
nope....
i invested money in a diesel hot water system for hot water all year round to make my working days a bit easier.....not to work in snow and ice.....oh and to stop my system freezing overnight during the winter months....

Went out about 11am back by 1 pm.
Work achieved 0 %
Un plugged water system at my parents garage, Brought indoors.
Blizzard conditions, where I live 6 miles away blue skies not a snow flake 😖
Just got a newer van don't want to risk it 😣

The areas I work have had 4-5” today and blizzard conditions are forecast for Thursday and Friday, not the hot water you want to worry about it’s smashing the van up. At least the van will keep the heater turning on and off keeping everything frost free eh Daz 😂

Done a full day today, just finished now. It’s 4°C out there now Daz, the roads were back to normal by 10am.
£5k brand new system and you’ve sacked it off the first real cold we’ve had all winter 😂

Wasn't above zero today where i was.
Didn't feel that bad, to be honest and would have happily worked.
But blizzard and good dusting of snow ⛄ where I was working so threw the towel in 😐

They’re generally not happy to have water sloshed around their house in the wind and rain either but it doesn’t stop some.

Actually wasn't that bad at all here, mostly blue sky and sunshine!! Don't think I will be venturing out tomorrow though by the looks.
-
Hope to get a bit more done this week ::)roll
Looks like Sunday is 9° hopefully springs upon us.

If you've got half a tonne of water in the back of your van you'll have better traction.

Not if it’s front wheel drive, or driving up hill he wont.
