What's it like where you are?
Going out about 10-ish snow flurries Waltham Abbey, Essex not that bad, no snow on the ground only a sprinkling on the grass areas.
How's the "beast from the east!" in your area!
Anyone got THUNDERSNOW!

Donny is showing temps of 1 n 2. Sun is shining but its bitter cold. Dont think its meant to hit us till Wednesday. But if we get the snow, it typically means that everywhere else has it bad!

Tuesday or Wednesday gonna be the problem here if the experts are right!
Would have not been so bad but with all the problems I had before and after Christmas, van packing up, etc.
Feels like a long slog this winter.
Glad others have remarked on it.

Weve not had a bad winter snce 2010 so it's been overdue! Lol butit doesnt make it easier to deal with.
A good summer is also long overdue, so hope it follows suit

Tho i feel for the chap, gregg james whos climbing snowdon today and then cycling to the next high peak scafell and climbing it. After that cycling to the mighty Ben Nevis. So cycling over 500miles and then hiking these beast in the bitter cold n snow for sports relief.
Hes picked best time of the year to do it all, its lovely n warm ;D

Been light snow here in Wakefield all morning, getting a bit heavier now.supposed to get worse tomorrow and be here all week.

Snowing on and off in county Durham cold but workable so just cracked on. Open the curtains every day and work according its still not near as bad as 2010. Yet ;D

Resigned to taking the week off, needed a recharge anyway 😀 January and Feb as been filled with lots of new customers. Text a couple of first clean today that was due this week rescheduling them for next week.

Re: Soupy's Comment. Hopefully it will thin out the heard a bit, this weather sorts out the men from the boys. There are a lot of new window cleaners about now; and expect it to get more competitive as more people are made redundant from thier high pressure low paid jobs. Difficult weather will hopefully make them jack it in.

I live on a single track country lane. No gritters etc.
We've got snow today, about 1-2" on the ground so I'm stuffed. My van is terrible for traction with the weight of water in the back. I'm not risking it. It's all downhill from my house whichever way I go out. And I won't be able to get back if I go now.
It's only the first forced day off all winter, which is pretty good innit!!

Same for me rigsby live in the country half way up large hill just been out roads in village bad and the main road not much better was in four wheel drive there and back. Just going to have a little down time till this clears stay warm and be sensible everybody ;D

I'm currently on the partof my round that is mostly the Flatlands (between the Nort and South Down in Surrey/Sussex. Temperature is the problem. I do have some work due that is from a 2.5 metre single-storey point ladder (a day and a bit more on a mobile home site) and the route is all via main roads, so I imagine that will be my sum total of work for the week. Still, £280 is better than nothing.

Plenty of snow showers here yesterday in West Midlands and -1 all day! Cracked on as its end of month and got my best day of the year so far! Only got half a days work today to do then that's it for me this month! Time to have a long weekend off at my caravan me thinks!

Going to try and make an igloo tomorrow. We've got the big deal of a red warning coming so I can see me being off for a few days then the leaking gutter phone calls will start and I've actually increased the prices online so it'll be interesting if I get as many enquiries.
