Title: Heatrod immersion element

My immersion is now been put in my tank all seems well no leaks (when cold).
When i went to wire it up i can only see the live and neutral but not the earth so have left it for the moment.
Can anyone remember if there's was like this.

I'll take a photo if I remember tomorrow of mine for you, as I don't have a cover on mine.
But basically the earth attaches to a small rod that is screwed into the body of the casing of the element. Whilst the live and negative wires connect to the element itself
