what i like about the new ones is they take a lot less room in your wallet.sometimes ill glance in my wallet and think ive got about £100 in tenners,ill count it and itll be £200 or £250! ;D

Someone gave me 10 £ coins with a couple of old ones amongst them, I stuck it in my pocket as working but never checked and discovered later. Next month their price went up, cheeky beggars.

Banks will take old pound coins, fivers and tenners.
It's just another service we offer ::)roll.

Probably. A few days before the old fivers went, a customer gave me eleven of them :) . No problem, I used some to buy diesel and others to go shopping.

Totally agree. Can't see the tax man believing a window cleaner has no 'cash' coming in.
