seen them on ebay and wondered are they decent to use with a twin 20" set up?

If they are suitable for chlorine reduction of 10,000 liters then you will be replacing them more often than if you brought a Fiberdyne and sediment filter from Gardiners that will do 78,000 liters for around the same price. Long term the Gardiners filter is better value for money.
