Title: Phoenix : Neon
Post by: bobplum on December 19, 2017, 09:14:12 pm
Does anyone have any experience of the Phoenix Neon pole, is it worth the cost, looking to replace two poles early next year just can't decide what to go for, have the SLX at the moment but leaning towards the lighter more rigid poles

I do but have not had it long, seems bit too light for me so the wife uses it.

Bob, you'll find a few owners of Neon's on different forums/Facebook etc, CIU is primarily tilts towards one manufacturer.  ;)

King, the Phoenix X pole you've had experience with has not been available for a number of years, so this comment is just a little bit out of date.   ;D

A "few" wouldn't quite cut it for me. The fact that the company owner had to intervene to deliver some "damage limitation" would ring all the alarm bells necessary!!   ;D

'Damage limitation' not in the slightest. Seeing as the Neon is the worlds lightest telescopic water fed pole and relatively expensive, it would be astute to get a first hand experience review on a product in this category.

Simply helping towards answering a question and providing some balance!

i was quiet some time ago but the clamps dont look like they have changed much if at all , to be fair tho a pole that only lasted 8 months and the last to months i had to build up the worn sections with rust seal paint is shocking so 6 months and the number 1 and 2 were shot come on realy thats prity poor , even mark m said they dont last ,i would like to here if or whats been inproved to make them last longer , i realy liked the clamps in use and the pole was lite just did not last

you cant trust reviews on fb buy the likes of the big names not guna name drop but one minit there saying this brand is beta then a few months later there saying a different brand is beta  then it just goes on to the next , im shore they get a heavy disscount  on these poles just to review them  , its like watching celebrity window cleaners  all fighting for the spot light  ;D
