Whats the situation with the amount of steam you guys get when the temperature drops with hot water systems installed.
I had been most working insides today but had a need to come outside at the end of the day to finish off a small amount of outside work with the new Grippa Hydroheat that was fitted last Friday.
I was quite surprised by the amount of steam this system seemed to be producing, literally enveloping the whole back end of the van whilst the doors were open. Is this to be expected and normal? It was getting quite chilly by that time as the sun had gone down.

the temperature on my heater was only reading 30c today and there was plenty of steam(both off the water and the reel!)but it was only 2c outside this morning and foggy most of the day.

I get a bit of steam from the exhaust area on initial start up but after 3-4 muinets it stops , then just steams off the hose and windows 😂😂😂😂

I emailed Oliver at Grippa. There was an issue with one of the sensors when they installed the unit.
They’re coming down to fit a new one this Thursday, he reckons once that’s been done the issue will be resolved.

Glad you're getting it sorted. I only get steam from the hose. I do sometimes after my burner has been on a couple of hours get a little steam coming from the unit.
