Title: TIP, TO SUPPORT POLE ON TROLLEY
Post by: jouk45 on June 17, 2006, 11:48:41 am
what  do you guys use to hold your pole on the trolley to save you carrying it,   this is what i do,   i use metal spring clips,   you drill a hole on the side,  almost near the top,   then use the right size self taping screw  to keep the pole from sliping or moving,   for the bottom bar, i use a rubber door stop with the hole in it, again use a self taping screw to hold it in place,

SCREW THE SPRING CLIP ON THE BAR NEAR THE TOP,

PLACE THIS RUBBER DOOR STOP ON BOTTOM BAR FOR TO PUT POLE BASE INTO.

MAKE SURE THE SPRING CLIP AND RUBBER STOP ARE BOTH IN A STRAIGHT LINE, HOPE THAT HELPS ANYONE BUILDING THEIR OWN TROLLEY SYSTEM,

I use 4 of the 5 section Unger pole. About 18 inches of waste pipe held on by exhaust U clamps does the job for me. Just put a bolt through the bottom of it to stop your pole falling though. I have one each side. Dai
