Does anyone else have a policy implemented? Or a code of conduct?

-
If I were to need such a policy, it would have a "no bigots" clause.

Yes we had to have one for a client I just googled it and found someone else’s and just changed my details for there’s and submitted it customer was quite happy and has never asked again that was about 8 years ago 😂😂😂😂

I thought I’d try to tap the employment market by using Facebook as a source for a potential employee earlier this year.

So  I advertised looking for a young enthusiastic school leaver. A woman tried to convince me I was breaking the law as I was seeking a young person and that was discrimination. It might be the case but despite her assurances I was never going to employ her even if she was only 60.

She also tried to make me see reason and understand she could mix concrete by hand as proficiently and quickly as any 25 year old male.

She should use a shovel. She’s correct though.

 Yep.
See all, hear all, say nowt!!
Be polite at all times and only slag customers off behind their back!!

you should be able to employ who the hell you want whether its a school leaver or 60 year old.

You can as long as you don’t discriminate against

 Age
 Gender
 Disability
 Sexuality
 Gender reassignment
 Religion

And some others I can’t remember.

 It’s da law.

You’re not allowed to discriminate against pen pushers either who make their living from not having a clue.

This is what happens if you discriminate against a snow-flake.

And this is why we’re going to have 60 year old brickies manicuring their finger-nails on the scaffold.
