If your on a tight budget its a good machine, if you can afford more go for something with a bigger pump 300psi+

I'm looking into machines round this price bracket too. Although other machines around this price look to be more solid and have better wands/pipes the overall package is excellent value.

John at restormate has a deal on it at the moment where he's offering a free heater unit work about £200

Like carpetclean said, do a search, theres articles on every machine you come across.

Some other companys which supply porty machines which I looked into include, Extracta, Ashbys, Woodbridge, Alltech

Hope this helps

Some of us had the prevlidge of meeting Matt on a recent course, and I am sure he will treat you fairly and with respect.

If you are new I believe he had lots of marketing statergies that you would have to pay for elsewhere.

He has machines from several manufactures.

Sorry if this sounds like an advert its not intententional but at present he is not allowed to post on this Forum

Why isn't he allowed to post, Ian?

Like you i find Matt to be really helpful beyond the call of duty.

yes i find that comment confusing as well especially as he supplies from several companies and appears to be the cheapest. he  also seems a very decent chap as i have spoken to him several times over different matters and he seems quite passionate about the business as a whole not just selling stuff

Well I am feeling brave this morning.

When Matt first started he was mainly Prochem, and if I remember correctly his link to his Web Site was quite prominent.
Which was included in his posts.

We must rember that Mike Express Cleaning Supplies owns this site,
and stocks Prochem products.

To his Credit he rarely promotes it on the Forum.

Hence there was a conflict.

Since then Matt has expanded his range

About two months ago he found he could access the Forum again, and for about three weeks was able to offer very helpful  technical assistance, but received an email saying that suppliers were not allowed to post,

I think Matts mistake was to use the user name Cleansmart Supplies.

It is a difficult one .

However my personal view is that if suppliers post in moderation using their own names, and perhaps clarrification that they our a supplier in the identification box at the bottom it is good for the Forum.

As they have all the technical information on products and have often moved on from being a Carpet Cleaner etc.

I can think of one very helpful post I have read this morning.

What is wrong is when a suppliers posts are blattant adverts, and when you look back the only contribution they make is to promote their products.

Also I believe on Cleantalk suppliers have to pay to promote their products in the Supplier only section.

This was a policy started by Paul and Matthew  when a rival supplier started to post on Cleantalk.

I would state these our my own views and apart from being a volunteer
moderator I have no conection with Express Cleaning Supplies or Cleansmart, apart from meeting  Matt.

Ian

These are the sort of problems one encounters when you have one cleaning supply company that owns and operates a successful forum such as this. It gets 'political' and sometimes nasty with the in fighting between other simular companies.

Why doesn't the NCCA start a cleaning forum like this, not only for its members, but everyone?
I don't know whether anyone can propose this at the next meeting?

I wonder how long it will be before this post gets deleted & I get banned because Ive made a suggestion which the owners of this site may not like?

Regards,  Andy

In the main this is not an indictive Forum,

regretably some times there are clashes which conflict with either the Forum, or obviously if you sell a product you do not want others doing the same from the stall that you have paid for.

However I am going to lock this topic
