Hi everyone.
Well as if iv'e got nothing better to do than talk about window cleaning on a Saturday night, heh.
Anyway it's that time again... Time to buy some more hose fittings and i never can remember from one purchase to the other which type i need.
I have a 6mm hose reel hose and the standard aquadaptor pole hose. I'm gonna buy the fitting from Gardiners And i'm looking to buy one of these on the hose reel hose...
http://gardinerpolesystems.co.uk/all-products/pump-hose/hose-fittings-adapters/ez-snap-range/ez-snaptm-hose-valve-with-male-tail-hose-barb.html
I just need to know if to buy the; 6mm microbore or the 8mm minibore?
Then finally i'm gonna connect this, the female fitting to the pole hose...
http://gardinerpolesystems.co.uk/all-products/pump-hose/hose-fittings-adapters/ez-snap-range/ez-snap-trade-female-end-stop-coupling-6mm-barb.html
Or this...
http://gardinerpolesystems.co.uk/all-products/pump-hose/hose-fittings-adapters/ez-snap-range/ez-snap-trade-female-end-stop-coupling-8mm-barb.html
Again i just need to know which size to buy. The 6mmmicrobore or the 8mm minibore
I find it such a confusion for some reason, heh. Any help appreciated!

If you have 6mm ID hose on your hose reel then you will need the 6mm barb size EZ-Snap female connector http://gardinerpolesystems.co.uk/all-products/pump-hose/hose-fittings-adapters/ez-snap-range/ez-snap-trade-female-end-stop-coupling-6mm-barb.html (http://gardinerpolesystems.co.uk/all-products/pump-hose/hose-fittings-adapters/ez-snap-range/ez-snap-trade-female-end-stop-coupling-6mm-barb.html)
Then usually pole hose is 5mm ID and would need an EZ-Snap 5mm barb male plug http://gardinerpolesystems.co.uk/all-products/pump-hose/hose-fittings-adapters/ez-snap-range/ez-snap-trade-male-5mm-barb.html (http://gardinerpolesystems.co.uk/all-products/pump-hose/hose-fittings-adapters/ez-snap-range/ez-snap-trade-male-5mm-barb.html)

thanks for the fast response Alex.
Firstly what does ID Stand for? Secondly i like to have my hose fitting the other way around. I like the male connector on the hose reel hose and the female connector on the pole hose. I've worked this way for years!
Thirdly I like the male connector to be a tap style like these ... http://gardinerpolesystems.co.uk/all-products/pump-hose/hose-fittings-adapters/ez-snap-range/ez-snaptm-hose-valve-with-male-tail-hose-barb.html
Thanks for your assistance.

Ha right .Thanks for that, mate!

i personally would go for the pro 26 fittings far more robust than the ez snap ones, a bit bigger and a tad more expensive but lots better in my experience.

or you could try the new Slick connector from Exceed Innovations

Have you got them Bob?
Even if they were the best thing since sliced bread, to change over 3 hose reels and 6 poles is going to need us to remortgage our house, especially since we have a good stock of EZ Snap connectors in 'stock'. Those 360 Protectas from Exceed have been brilliant.

As has been posted this stands for the internal diameter of hose and relates to which size barb fitting you would need.
For your setup you would need http://gardinerpolesystems.co.uk/all-products/pump-hose/hose-fittings-adapters/ez-snap-range/ez-snaptm-hose-valve-with-male-tail-hose-barb.html (http://gardinerpolesystems.co.uk/all-products/pump-hose/hose-fittings-adapters/ez-snap-range/ez-snaptm-hose-valve-with-male-tail-hose-barb.html) with the 6mm barb option
And then the pole hose you need this fitting http://gardinerpolesystems.co.uk/all-products/pump-hose/hose-fittings-adapters/ez-snap-range/ez-snap-trade-female-end-stop-coupling-6mm-barb.html (http://gardinerpolesystems.co.uk/all-products/pump-hose/hose-fittings-adapters/ez-snap-range/ez-snap-trade-female-end-stop-coupling-6mm-barb.html) - it is actually a 6mm barb, but if you heat the end of your pole hose it will fit.

If you order them over the weekend then the order will be fulfilled on Monday morning.
Items are sent out via FedEx next day or Royal Mail first class - there is a good chance that you would receive them on Tuesday.

Can't thank you enough. I always use your poles and resin among other consumables. And to be able to come on here and speak directly to you at all hours of the day proves time and again to be priceless!
Many thanks,

Alex ; you have obviously forgotten that the FedEx driver/Postie has to hand over the goods to the local stage coach team at the Lincolnshire border. Then a Telegram boy wearing a pill-box hat and riding a butcher's bicycle takes the goods onwards to GB Window Cleaning's hamlet.
Might take an extra day?
