Had started another thread yesterday about my day to day pole being too heavy, went to work today and took some sections off and decided I'm going to get a lighter pole and brush.
came home searched gardiners and low and behold there was an extreme 18 x3 x demo for £100 off 1 only.
Needless to say its sold now but how about that?

Must off had your name on it ;D, it makes sense to make your day as easy as possible in the long run. Although the extreme is a light pole they do where quicker in my experience then the slx's and are not as robust overall but still good poles if looked after.

Mate i dont blame you. this week i've been helping out my new employee on houses all week. I decided to let him use the SLX 25 and i've been using the CLX 18. Can't believe the difference in weight. I've literally been throwing the pole around. So much lighter doing standard houses, im agitating faster, rinsing faster. Just in general quicker and much less tired after using it all day. Couldn't believe the difference. Think i might order a smaller SLX pole as a main pole and keep the other in the van as a backup for windows at additional height.

You will love it.
Get some xtreme brushes, stiff is good, natural bristle is very good. They used to do a flocked but not anymore.
Don't drop it.
Be precise in your technique and you'll be going home early ;D

Only an extreme 25 left. £60 off. Not a lot off.
I never look in that section

I do already and it hasn't even arrived yet!
I ordered an ultimate medium brush as its a bit more to it than an extreme, I can see me snapping the pole trying to scrub with an extreme brush.
its lighter than the compact I have but heavier than the extreme, kind of middle of the road.
Looking forward to easier days.
The fact you have to more careful will mean it'll be even less strain as ill be reluctant to push as hard with it.
I have 17 days off at Christmas and I cant flippin wait, I'm gonna re-jig the van and add some leccy reels to make things that little bit less effort.
Easier 2018!
