Title: Help with pump (e chen rv 7L/min 100 psi)
Post by: lee_dewing on November 01, 2017, 09:35:42 pm
Hello my shurflo 100 psi broke today 7+ years old.

Connector was corroded where spade connector fits on, snapped.

New shurflo hopefully arrives Friday or Saturday.

Found this pump in my garage not sure where I got it? Gardiners?

Gonna try and use tomorrow, anyone know how pressure switch wires up, has two small connector prongs. (no +/- symbols on pressure switch prongs).

I don't use varistream digital controllers

Just use simple power regulater like a dimmer switch, so pressure switch should be wired in like it was on shurflo me thinks.

Sorry I'm not great with this sure you can tell.

Thanks lee

Stick a photo up showing your shurflo pump.
If it's just an electrical connector issue then it can be fixed.

Hi Andy as said electrical connector on shurflo snapped off, if I could fix it I would, I've ordered another shuffle but will be another couple of days that's why I'm trying to use spare old pump in pic

Hard to diagnose a remedy without seeing a photo.
But from what you said I'm imagining the spade has snapped off the pressure switch?
If so any easy fix, for just a few quid and about half an hour of your time.
