Title: Gutter clearing
Post by: Jack Regan on October 31, 2017, 07:08:50 pm
I  brought a  guttervac but while doing it I thought what’s the point. No ones gonna check so if there’s no one in I just quickly check nothing growing out and put the bill in. Great money for little work. Best bit is they’ll need them doing more often if I don’t do it in the first place. Win win.

You would be surprised how many people watch you working. If they see you doing a thorough job they would be inclined to ask you to quote them if they needed your services, however if you do a shoddy job word spreads quicker than a  good reputation which takes time to build up with the trust of your customers and the nosey neighbours who watch from their windows  ;D

Got a text this morning in reply to a quote; we have a company going to carry it out for £40. works out at £1.14 per meter! Good luck with the "company".  If your charging £1.14 per meter then you might be inclined to not bother your arse.
