Title: The £1.50 brush
Post by: P @ F on October 29, 2017, 10:28:06 am
Well here she is , after my extreme has served its time , in my eyes anyway (2.5 years) , i thought i would treat myself  ;D
Found a pile of these little beauts over my local premiere shop , took one home and did my thing , once stocked , jetted and piped up she came in at a respectable 170 g , the extreme was 142 g .
Did a trial on my windows and wow what a brush , not a spot in sight , light and in between medium and stiff Gardiner bristle , its just a shame that it probably wont last too long .
But thats ok , cos i went back over and bought the other 3 they had left  ;D.

It would be interesting to list it with a full refund offered for peace of mind with the buyer , just to see what it would fetch !

Yep the old stiffy just goes on and on, you would be doing well to get a week from the extreme soft.

2 years from an extreme.

Remember the ones I bought 2 months ago, as new  ;D

This is mine already, plenty of life left of course but even I won't get 6 months from a extreme.

See the trick with the extreme is to just TICKLE the window a bit  ;D ;D ;D

If you are needing to use the brush that hard you should have an Ultimate on the end of yer stick !

Are you using hot water Adam ? if so the only extreme that will last is the stiff.

The brush in pics is a stiff , thats why it has lasted so long , i cant fault them , the only reason it has been replaced is because some of the clumps of bristles have curled slightly , they have bent just where my fans do their job , if i was a pencil user it would not have been an issue but as im on the hot for a while they will be diverting the water into splatters not fans .
I could cut the offenders off but thats just like giving Duncan Goodhew a haircut (Pointless)  ;D ;D ;D

I use this kind  of brush £2.99 and they last about 4  months
Am sick and tired  of paying about £40 with vat and delivery cost for a brush
I was told that the   gorilla  brush was one of the best have not seen one yet
If you do find one let me know thanks
