Title: Transfer pump
Post by: Steven Biggs on October 24, 2017, 08:34:49 pm
Which is the best transfer pump . Need to get the water out of the van tank into the trolley a bit faster . Do you just leave em in the tank and wire it to the leisure battery and switch em on when needed . Sorry if it sounds a bit daft . But I've never used one . Cheers .

You will need a 12v pump, there's plenty on eBay from about £10 upwards. Just wire it into the leisure battery with a 10amp waterproof switch.

Thanks for that . I have my van mount controller connected to my leisure battery . Is it ok to connect them both to it ?

Cheers . Just thinking is there a pump I can connect outside the tank , just feed it into the pipe I use now to fill the trolley . At the moment gravity fills the trolley . But when we're on a hill it can be a problem .

Ive just ordered this to replace my last one which broke. Its 2000g per hour which will fill your trolley in no time. Its an 8amp draw though.
( if US gallon its 151 lpm or imperial gallon its 126 lpm)
