Title: what bilge pump?
Post by: nathankaye on October 22, 2017, 04:51:10 pm
Ive been using this as a transfer pump to fil my trolley.

But it has now broken, possibly down to the hot water but not fully sure. Either way im in need of a new pump and wondered if people are using a better or quicker 12v option?
Cheers

Hot water at the heat your using it shouldn't affect it I wouldn't have thought.

Which one is it  Nathan?
I’ve always used the same one as you, replaced it a couple of times andI keep a spare.
It fills my Gardiner back pack in under a minute.
You would love my set up wiring!  Illuminated switch and the 12v digital gauge you recommended.

I might take that idea on board as well when i rewire the new one. I had my switch  near my tank lid and periodically water leaks out from the lid and floods the switch.  So i do need more thought or care when fitting this one compared to "that will do attitude" that i had with the last one.
