Title: whos getting ready for work tomorrow?
Post by: nathankaye on October 15, 2017, 07:49:40 pm
I dont bother watching or checking the forecast, i just get ready and go. If it ends up being really bad weather i simply call it a day but i know i tried.
My wife keeps checking though and has told me tomorrow we are supposedly getting a level 1 hurricane hitting england tomorrow, im guessing im well safe in Doncaster to work and planning to anyway. What about you guys?

Vans all cleaned, resin will do for now, battery on charge.... But I'm off up north tomorrow so won't affect me! Apart from every man and their dog wanting turf removed from the gutters.

Red alert hurricane warning here, due to hit during the early hours of the morning.  Not a hope of working tomorrow.

John.

Will see what it's like tomorrow. What else can you do.

Just do as much as I can do Mon to Fri then whatever happens happens. No point worrying.

ive got a f/s/g clean booked in this morning and a few large houses to clean.i should be done by 2pm.the strongest wind is not due to hit until after 2 anyway.

very strong gale force winds are a definite no no for working in IMO.you can really make a mess of the windows(as ive found out in previous years!) ;D

It's been overcast all day so far but no rain

Sat in local coffee house having a late lunch break.
Thick with clouds here, looks like a storm is brewing, winds picking up slightly but all good for working still ☺

Drizzly and blowy at 9 am in Bristol. Dry, cloudy and blowy since 9.30 with a red sun. Gorgeous sunshine since 1 pm.

Finished at 2pm.

I packed it in at 12 and came home. 70mph gusts but dry at the moment - van was showing 19c - very warm wind. A fine redish dust in the rain on the windscreen this morning = dirty windows.
It's 3pm and staring to cloud over - rain is prommised soon. Schools have closed and some bus services have been suspended.
