as above, also what do you guys look for in an employee?
I need someone asap!
I have an idea of what I want but what would you say to steer well clear of? Any bad experience with certain criteria?
Where do I start the search??

Hi Paul,
All i can say personally is you want to be interviewing as many people as you can, and just hope the person you think seems right for the job will actually be a good hard worker.
It's like customers though, sometimes you got to get through the rubbish to find the decent custards.
The guy i've hired so far is doing well, i had over 70 applications and whittled down to 10 interviews and even then several didnt even turn up.....
The start is time consuming though, hoping when my guy is fully trained and able to go out with or without my supervision that it will all be worth it!!
good luck mate

Ask around, people you know, usual networking stuff, get some van signage "Recruiting Locally", if that fails place an advert in local paper.
Recruit on personality, punctual, smart, positive attitude etc, as mentioned it's not all plain sailing, if after all the hard work you find out they're useless get rid of them and start again, it may appear hard work but it's worth it, eventually you'll find a system that works for you.
When you get a good one look after them.
