Title: Hire a car while my van is down to carry on....

the cheapest quote I have got is £318 for 3 weeks. On a  Vauxhall Corsa 2 door. If I can get a roof rack for it then I put a ladder on top.

do you have a backup vehicle?

Hire a van ?

I have a car but wouldn't use it for more than a few day.

Last time mine blew up I hired a van.

Don't think they will let you put a roof rack on a hire car.....or van for that matter.

Make sure they are aware you're the hire car for commercial use.  Some will have an issue with it.
