Sounds like you might need to see a chiropractor

Like most wen I started I wouldn't commit to spending big on poles so was using Brodex and ionic weapons of mass destruction, after a few solid days u do feel it.

I soon learnt gardiners is the place to buy poles from, even tho I bought my extreme 47 second hand it was in mint condition off a guy on here

It depends on what's causing your pain.  I had major problems with spasms for many years directly because of using ladders all day for the first 12 years of window cleaning.  They used to lay me out for days.  However, since switching to wfp, I haven't had them anywhere near so bad.  In fact, if I can lift a barrel onto a trolley, working is the best thing for it.  They clear up much quicker that staying at home.  A chiropractor and two osteopaths helped greatly in the early years.  Now, using the lightest kit I can afford,  I seldom need to go.

Yoga is very good. It strengthens muscles and improves flexibility, especially muscles that keep your back supported.

It would be good though to find out what the specific problem is with your back.

Go to the gym and lift heavy weights.  It's great for your joints and back as long as you do it sensibly and know a little bit about what you should be doing.

Use a lightweight pole and brush too.

I had trouble with my elbows and I purchased the lightest equipment I could. Xtreme pole, Extreme brushes, pole hose on main reel, that kind of thing. It really made a difference. Now my elbows don't hurt any more.
I also have sports massage every couple of weeks and it really makes my back feel good. Not sure if it will work for you but might be worth a go. My massage person deals with sports injuries, back problems, that kind of stuff.
I'm 53 and soon I will be joining a Pilates class to help strengthen my core and make me more supple; see how it goes.
