Thank you.

Net profit x 3 - 5. Plus value of assets you would need written contracts to get maximum value.
Why sell if you have management just keep taking salary and dividends ?

Go 20 threads down the page mate!

If that was my business I would have woke up in another dimension, that said when your talking about those sort of cash sums your
best going to a business advisor.
The problem with window cleaning is its not hard and you don't need much of a business head to build a decent sized business if that's what your after, therefore business advice even from the guys who we would consider successful on here wont really be worth much.
-
your agent will give you the true market valuve and what to expect to get for it , not fellow window cleaners most on here don't even know what a truckmount is never mind what they cost
-
Yea.
-
What is a truck mount.
-
If it was my business I think I'd know what it was worth.
If it wasn't mine it wouldn't matter what I thought it was worth.
Those expenses seem a little steep but what do I know? And I'm busy googling 'truckmount'.

Hi,
Just wondering or seeking advice to see what a very well established business would be valued at.
Obviously this is a simple question and I am not looking for argumentative comments, it's just a basic question.
Business has been established over 20 years doing commercial window cleaning and with management companies with long retained contracts, and now offering other services like gutter cleaning, cladding, etc.
Abseiling contracts are also in place.
The sales would be £600k pa with expenses being roughly 300k with 5 new vehicles fully professionally fitted systems in (some with hot water systems), 1 brand new truck mount 25m machine.
If this was your business, what would you be looking to sell for ?
Thank you.
Why would you sell that!!! That's an excellent profit for that turnover! Can't you just pay someone £50k a year to run it and earn 200k yourself and go do something else?
I also don't know what a truckmount is but I would value your business at £1million
-
Give me a £1 million plus £60K salary for one year to "hand it over smoothly" and its yours.
The company isn't yours until you've paid every last cent and then I walk away.
None of the "here's 50K" plus a salary and a crafty we'll pay you more on results after a year or two nonsense.

50% profit on that is excellent. I'm with Lee, I wouldn't sell it. If you can really distance yourself from it and earn £200k a year without damaging the business I would do that.
How many staff in the business? How many workers and how many office staff?
The truckmount is that a cherry picker?

I'm guessing they cost more than a truck hill but way less than a truck mountain?
-
Articulated boom on a flatbed is it? I dunno.
One year of turnover to sell your business.
