Title: Changing motor brushes
Post by: moc on June 13, 2006, 06:00:38 pm
Hi all,

The brushes need to be changed on my Steemeasy 400 (Yes i know.... its due for retirement!)... but i havnt done it before and have no idea how to. My question is, is it relatively simple? Can i do it myself? Can anyone give brief instructions? I dont even know what they look like  ??? Just want to check here before I go opening it up & electrocuting myself  ;D

Yes you can,

Much as I hate to send you to a rival site, if you go to www.cleantalk.co.uk

and look in the machine repair section you will find and answer.

Trevor Ives  did say he would post some pictures but has not done so far.

Mike

How do you know they need changing?

Don’t forget to get it pat tested afterwards.
