Title: 2kw Immersion element for IBC tank
Post by: Jonny 87 on September 06, 2017, 12:05:05 pm
Sorry for resurrecting an old topic, but can any one point to a website that sells 2kw immersions in the longer lengths?

I bought my previous element from one stop bio shop, but heard a few bad reviews about not recieving the goods, so id rather not go back to them.

I'm Finally converting my static IBC to a heated tank. I'm not 100% sure the thickness of the wall will tolerate it, but I'm going to give it a go. (Famous last words)

I'm using this mechanical flange

Also if anyone knows what size hole cutter I'd need that would be much appreciated. With it being a thin wall IBC tank I'm going to have to be pretty accurate with the sizing.

Will keep things updated here as to wether it works or not. If not, I'll be looking for a new IBC.  ;D
