This forum is meant to be about us being able to help each other out but increasingly when someone posts something that is easy to rip the modded out of then suddenly it turns into a group of 8 year olds picking on the spotty kid.
Lets face it this is the one place where we can talk, share the issues, problems and general ball-aches we ALL get.... So what if a guy doesn't feel comfortable drilling holes in his van.... nor do I to be honest and when it comes to safety add to that the potential of putting holes where you would not want holes, why not help the guy out? narh too easy right !
We all know that some people here will bend over backwards to help out others... Thanks I owe you guys so much..... on the other hand if you want to just sit back at your warriors keyboard and post jibes, thinly veiled insults why not just modded off and troll your modded elsewhere.
For the most part we lead isolated lives doing what we do.... So before you post yourmodded think first, perhaps the guy you are putting down is struggling and could do with a kind word or just some encouragement.... like we all do from time to time....
And its no surprise that most topics here get gazillions of views but only a few posts.
Rant over, mod/s if you feel I have overstepped the mark please feel free to impose whatever penalty you see fit (written respectfully).

Couldn't have said it better myself Dave.
This site has become nothing more than a platform of abuse for certain members. No wonder most of the good posters don't bother anymore or have buggered off to different forums.

I agree, theres some horrible buggers on here. :D
Theres a few that seems to be unable to take a joke or take offence at everything as well though, its not that serious.

i have had my share of a holes taking the pss, I do try not to rise to there ignorant remarks but I cant help my self. about time this issue was raised well done

It's not the only reason I stayed away from here for quite a while, but it was certainly part of it. There were positive reasons too as I wanted to use my time more productively.

I took it personaly!
You and thimble real hacked me off, l was stressed out about getting this tank sorted and then lve got the likes of you pair of testes winding me up saying daft stuff and trying to "feminise me".
If you knew me personaly and knew what lm about you wouldnt of said the things you did, l'll have a go at most things but when it comes to me and my wife(avatar) coming home safely together to pick up the kids lm going to make sure the jobs done right!
So yeah l flew off the handle a bit, l lost my composure and said some things l shouldnt of said. Ive got a lot going on in my life right now that l wont go into. Ive always been a"hot head" and lve learnt my lessons the hard way from that.
I apologise for attacking you personaly, it was a bit over the line.
A big thankyou to all the guys who have shown support, much apreciated.

I've been googling it for 10 mins.
I have two versions and one is very nice and one is very, very bad!
I luv everyone on here (and on a serious note. I have learned absolutely loads of stuff from this forum).
And spending loads of dough on poo I shouldn't have purchased, but hey ho!

Yeah, he spent four years researching the solar panel market then cleaned them with a brush in trainers and jeans. ;D

Like you say i dont know you, likewise if you knew me you would know that yes i was taking the pee a bit, but it was just banter.

Re: Solar Steve. I didn't bring him up on this thread and my dislike of his Internet personality is nothing to do with his "success". My own view is that it's not a business model I would follow as it's just subbing out work, but it's his attitude of trying to mystify something really simple - cleaning a panel. He did once say he had 5 girls working in the office yet he works from home. That sounds suspect to me unless he has an enormous house. But hey ho.
