Its cheap because they use cheap Chinese components and membranes.

You couldn't expect it to work as efficiently or as long as better quality USA sourced membranes.

I pretty sure this ebay supplier is linked to Collins Water in Sheffield.

I suppose you need to ask yourself how much water you need per day, do you have storage for the water you make and is it enough, whats your water pressure or will you need to boost the pressure, what is your tds? you may well find you'll be running that 24 hours a day but hey you'll now what you need.

Funny how the world seems to have some issues with Chinese goods but the truth is most goods we consume  come from the east loads and loads of products are rebadged hey even look around the car industry and you'll see loads of rebadges.

Get yourself on Aliexpress when you need all those small replacement bits and pieces.... you'll be amazed at both the prices and the quality....

As for that ro unit.... yeah ran one of those for about 2 years to feed a freedom trolley when I first started like many here.... when you need greater quantity or faster production move onto the larger units.

This is the company i use for my membanes and filters , i cant fault them at all , i use the 50GPD membranes they take the water from 100 to 001 for at least 12 months .
