for some reason the photo won't load
It's a shaggy rug which aren't the best to clean anyway

Hi guys I have a rug to clean very similar to the one in the photo, it's not that dirty but has had a dog sleeping on it for a few years so smells terrible, what the best way to clean and get rid of the smell.

leave it well alone ,the dogs oils will have seeped into the backing .

Yep get them to buy a new one
