What would be the earliest & latest you would work (or is acceptable) when cleaning windows & when canvassing?

With regards working. Its whatever the customer will accept. If they don't mind u being on their property at 7am or 7pm then thats up to you.

Personally I dont start a y earlier than  half 8. Even at 9-10 some days I feel like I'm waking everyone up. There's some lazy gets out there...I wouldn't work later than 5 as that's when most people are getting home from work and making tea etc.

Having did that I generally work 9-3. I find that way I'm home before the school rush and traffic etc

Same as Adam, I find anytime after 9am works best for me as the morning traffic will have cleared and its best to be finished
before it starts to return in the evening.

I usually start on residentials afrer 9am and work till 6 ish.

That said,  yesterday I started just after 8 (albeit on shops) and finished my last house at around 8pm. Customer (a lovely old lady) was happy as I got tea and cake afterwards!

Ideally I like to set off to work before half 8. Which was easy when I had to take my lad to school. But since were now home schooling its thrown my routine out. Lol im just lazy now and normally setting off at 9 or just after.
Finishing anywhere between 3.30pm n 5 pending round im doing.

Domestic, no earlier than 8.30 am, on the glass; usually about 9.00 am.

For quite a few commercial accounts we start early because it's just easier, for example, we do a bunch of factory units where everyone parks close to the building; it's much easier cleaning those when there's no cars in the way.

We also do a garden centre and a large restaurant with a 'wall of glass' on one side.  Both are much easier to clean when there's no customers to annoy you.

Safer too.

Usually start "on the glass" at 9am, working until 4 to 5pm, however I'm trying to refine my round so I can finish earlier (around 3pm).

Living in rural Pembrokeshire I don't get stuck in traffic but sometimes I'm held up by cows crossing the road coming back from milking (cows are never in a hurry) or I get held up behind the odd tractor.

Generally on domestic I like to start at 8.45 to 9.00 (always feels good to be on the glass before 9.00) and I work to get the days scheduled work in which is usually finishing the last job between 3.00 and 4.00 pm.

If I have a commercial job and it's above freezing I will start between 7 am and 8 am and then add any domestics. Usually finish by 3pm.
