Title: Trad does not rule !

Stuff going back to that , i just worked that yesterday i went up and down a ladder 424 times , my legs are like lead , and my hands have morphed into crab claws !!
Good job they only have it done every 8 years  :o

I actually like trad now and again. I have a block of flats to do on Tuesday, it's 3 stories, I wfp the top and trad the middle and bottom floors.
When I tendered for them they specifically requested this as most of the tenants had complained about wfp, mainly because the windows are oldish wood windows and the frames leak.
I was happy to accommodate, it makes a change from the norm.

Dont get me wrong , i do  enjoy it , i find it more satisfying mentaly , but i cant stand the ache the next day , i must be getting too old for it

I'm 100% trad, been in the game for 20 years and still love it.

I have been without my van for a week now though, so have been walking around with ladders and bucket with cloths etc in a backpack doing my most local work.

I'm 55 and in reasonable nick physically, but have to say I am looking forward to getting the van back (hopefully tomorrow)!

Just seems to be every time they have a refurb !
I do clean them every 2 weeks low level external , this time though it was high and low external and low level inside , fookin killed me , 53 panes top 53 panes bottom , all inside had to be scraped top to bottom due to poster tape !

your around the same age as me arent you mate?(45?).did you do that job on your own too?

Im not as old as you Daz , im way younger at 44 !
I had to do it on my own cos im too tight to pay others  ;D
