I'm looking for something waterproof that won't stink after an hour.
The cheap rubber garden type gloves that I use at the moment are a bit too warm so although they are waterproof my hands sweat so much they are soaking in no time.
Any decent gloves out there?

waterproof and breathable doesnt exist
water resistant might
but why do you need gloves?

Showa 306 or Showa 377 gloves

The only 2 reason i wear gloves in the summer is to stop my hands from getting dirty (i seem to be a dirt magnet) and to help with my bad finger.
I dont understand why else especially water proof unless working in rain.
As you shouldnt habe water trickling back down your pole onto your hands unless you either have a poor connection on a push fit or the brush angle is slightly off

Try the Kooltouch Nitrile Gloves. I only wear these in winter, but they're thin and quite tough. Not thick of leaving feel. Hth.

Typos above ::)roll
They aren't thick and they don't lack feel.
You will sweat in any kind of glove in the summer just because of the heat. I find the powder coated gloves worse for smelly hands due to the powder mixing with your sweat. Try the unpowdered ones.

Thank you for the replies
The Showa 306 gloves get good reviews on screwfix so I'll give them a try.
I use them mainly for water fed pole use.like Nathan I too seem to get dirty hands and there's always the squirt of water when disconnecting my pole so these look well worth a try.
Thanks

I just use cheapo builders gloves with rubber faces and finger ends but cloth backs.

in summer i generally dont wear gloves that often(only if its cloudy and raining)as you end up with white hands in the sunshine.if i do its usually just the throwaway nitrile gloves.
