It's very interesting to see Mercedes at the top !
The L200 does well although the Ranger is currently the best selling UK pickup - just not as reliable...apparently.

Merc has a reputation for some of the very finest engineering and some of the very worst. It seems to run in cycles and whether or not they are prioritizing money over quality or the other way around. I've seen fantastic, early nineties W124 E class cars with huge mileage that still look and feel like new and ten year old E class with terminal rot They seem to spend most of their time either in the top 10 or the bottom 90 - depending on if they're bothered. I like the CLK but can't stand the inconsistency.

I reckon there's only about a dozen Hyundai iload vans in the UK! That's why it doesn't get surveyed.
Mine however is lovely and reliable after 5 plus years. (And so it should be.)
And the aircon is still freezing. Bliss.

i looked at them hyundai vans but was put off buy the turbo issue

Intriguing. They seem to be early Aussie ones on high miles. They changed the turbo's for 2012 I believe.
They come with a 5yr/100K warranty here.
Mine's only on 28,500 but knowing my luck with it just being out of warranty it'll go bang now!

my brother in law has one to with over 120k and its bin good as gold just when you see these reviews it puts the scar factor in like my vivaro with over 60k lots were saying injectors would go at 30k fuel pump ect ect but mine has bin good as gold apart from the gear box issue lucky it had 2 weeks warnty left ::)roll

My ex AA Vivaro is like 'Triggers broom' 4 new handles and 5 brush heads still as good as new!!
On the plus side everything has been replaced bar the paint - might even get a few more years out of the old girl yet

Still using a 2002 SEAT Inca, does the job nicely, and uses very little diesel.

Good on you John! I'm using a 2004 Vauxhall Combo which has proven to be very reliable. Just thinking ahead a little, would like a van than can carry a 500L tank (rather than 350L) since I occasionally run out of water.
-
i think its important to think about what size van you need i was all out to get a small van but got talked in to a lwb vivaro ive never looked back infact im looking in to a tad bigger as ive got pressure washer 500l tank gutter vac trad gear the list goes on lol

non-turbo, 143k on the clock, bought it a few years back, touched up a few little rust spots, can't complain.
