I know this isn't exactly window cleaning but it's in the same ball park.
I recently bought a used car and, on the inside of the rear window, is a large sticker.
How would you remove it?
I hope removing it doesn't damage the heating strips :/
-
as a window cleaner i would soap it up then get a blade on it.
not sure about the heating elements though.
maybe try a car valeting forum or youtube vids will prolly cover it or something similar.
you can buy an autoglym product that will dissolve the sticker but not sure which one it is(tar and glue remover???)
l would just go carefully with a brand new blade if it were me.

Trade it in for a VW

Try warming it up.
I used some very hot water in a bucket, and a cloth. Soaked the cloth, wrung the excess water out of it and applied it to the sticker, then gently peeled it back one bit at a time. I also used this method to remove an unsightly old GB sticker from the bumper of my car that woldn't budge when cold.

Try a hair dryer, the heat will soften glue and then sticker will peel off, that s how I removed the graphics from my old van prior to selling it
-
Leave it alone is my advice. Those heating elements are very fragile.

b and q "sticky stuff remover" will do it no problem.

Trade it in for a VW
Or anything else better than a Skoda.
No need for me to specify there.
Or anything else.
-
Any tar/glue remover will do it as will white spirit to a lesser extent.
I use the above on cars regularly

So? In it's final days the Defender was made by Jaguar.
A Jaguar, it was not.

Certain skodas are essentially the same cars as the VW equivalents. Same chassis and engines etc re badged. Octavia and golf for example.
Skodas are very good cars these days

Got a Octavia VRS estate. Spot on drive other that wheel spin. Its build on same line as VW. Same parts, satnav etc.

BMW man myself now im in my 30s, 320d touring is my current weapon of choice.
Never driven an audi or vw but i did have an old skoda favorit when i passed my test, then i was quickly onto the blue ovals, fiesta xr2i, rs turbo escorts etc.
