Last time I posted on here I was yet to do any driveway cleaning, fast forward a short time and I have gained a little experience in the trade. I would also like to thank some of you guys for your help and tips you gave me some of them really helped me along the way, I have also been getting some good feedback from my work so that's nice and I do actually enjoy pressure washing.
I was advised by some not to sell my self short and work for pennies and I can safely say I don't feel I have, I'm at the stage now were it would be nice to get more work its been a bit up and down but I suppose it can be expected with a new business. I would like to hear some feedback of how some of you guys got on during your first year in the industry.
The services I offer at the minute are driveway and patio cleaning, with the little money I have saved up from my pressure washing jobs I would like to expanded and add another service to my business so any advise on that would be greatly appreciated.
Hopefully I can continue to grow the business thanks for the help and advise.

Conservatory roof cleaning & fascia/soffits.
A good mini scaffold or heavy duty stepladders and you can clean the con roofs a good set of ladders and you can clean F/S. These are an easy add on for pressure washing.
We find the hourly rate for these is slightly lower than pressure washing but they still are Good earner

I use the hosepipe connected to the outside tap although I do use it connected to a WFP, a telescopic car wash brush is just as good but a bit heavier

Gutter cleaning mate, if you haven't got one already you will need a decent vacuum whilst p washing,
simple addition, will also help over winter to keep you busy

I agree with this and should have mentioned it myself, we have done quite a few little £75 jobs and sticking the ladders up and cleaning out grass sods that are growing in the gutters (usually At internal corners or out of the down pipe) we have a full gutter vac system and will be putting more emphasise (sp?) on this in our leaflet later on in the year.
We now have a little game of 'spot the gutter that needs cleaning' as we are on jobs......there are so many that have clumps of grass growing out of them.
