Title: Franklins of Sheffield
Post by: rob_s on March 11, 2004, 08:54:20 pm
Hi All,
Franklins of Sheffield are a major cleaning company and have invited members of this forum to an open day at their factory if we are interested.
They use Microsplitters in their factory on Rugs, carpets and suites. The Rugs and Carpets are fed into machines where they are beaten ,vacuumed then finally cleaned. All the Rugs, Carpets and suites are then put into extensive drying rooms.
They also have a repair section eg. Rug tassels replaced or repaired, carpets re-tufted etc.

Would anyone be interested in attending the open day at the end of April begining of May.

Regards  rob-s ??? ???

I have been on this day out before! ;D

I can recomend it.

They also have a very good rug fringe repair service which I have recomended to my clients with expensive rugs, where fringes are damaged or worn and the repairs have been first class.

Mark,

Fancy going again, thought it was a good day last time.

I can remember walking up & down those big Sheffield hills looking for a decent Pub & Indian restraunt.

If we do Iam not sleeping with Steve the Carpet monster again, while he slept like a baby snoring his head off I stayed awake all night listening to it!! >:(

Phil.

ps. Also remember that Casino, lost £30.00 in about 3 seconds, never done it since!

Does anyone actually earn money by using Franklins Services ?
I used their Microsplitting product some while ago and it was Considerably More expensive than similar products previously mentioned on this group.
Also I contacted them with the view to offering their services e.g. Rug Cleaning + Curtains etc.
After several attempts of trying to get them to talk to me I gave up  :'(
Might have been unlucky so just wondered about you folks

There quite an old fashion company, sometimes a sales call can get lost in the system. Most clients that have called Franklins and then me say that there receptionist/telephone person are not always helpful.
