Just purchased a Chemspec ACE 4532AC truck mounted machine. Only 170 hrs from new but can not get water pressurized in system. Water runs through and round machine as can see flow in water box, but will not pressurize and come out of the water out connector at front of machine. Any ideas as to what the problem is?
Just to add...... I have currently removed the temp sensor as broken. Got the hole plugged with 3/8 plug nut. Dont know of this is causing it . I think this only sends a signal to temp gauge for temp reading

Take a logical walk through and disconnect fittings as you go until you find the problem.
The pump is pushing water to the downloader and this is bypassing back into the water box, so the pump sounds ok but I would still undue the high pressure fitting on the pump head to check you are getting pressure from the pump( just undue it slightly it should spray water everywhere, then quickly retighten)
The downloader should be directly behind the QC on the front of the machine, take off the QC to see if you get continuous flow when the machine is running.
Is presurised water getting to the downloader? Undue the high pressure hose leading from the pump start the machine are you getting flow?
Between the pump and the QC is there any filter that could be blocked?
If the pump is pumping water and it is not coming out of the QC then it is either blocked or bypassing. follow the path of the flow and check any point it could be compromised

What a great helpful post

Thanks Mike. The check valve behind the qc output was sieved and full of crap. Got water out now but can't get pressure above about 100psi

Are you getting plenty of water flow? Does the pressure spike high then drop off ( is the pressure at 400psi until you press the trigger then it drops to 100) or does the pressure gauge never go above 100psi?
If you take the QC off the front of the machine will the jet of water shoot 15-20ft? Is water still be bypassed into the water box even when this water is jetting out the front.
If you disconnect the high presure hose that leads from the pump to the uploader, point it out of the van and start the machine all the pressure the pump can produce will fire out of this hose...... it should be a 20ft jet of water and nearly the same as when you take off the QC, if there is a difference then the downloader is at fault
The only thing that effects pressure is the effiency of the pump, the uploader ( pressure numpty on the fronfof the machine) or if some of the water pressure is bypassed, like a thermal release valve.
