Title: Can hydrochloric acid be used through a water fed pole/brush?
Post by: Ant84 on May 13, 2017, 12:18:09 pm
Looking at moving from our usual IK Goizper sprayers for applying hydrochloric (36%).

Downsides to using the sprayer are limited height access and the spray getting blown around in the wind during poor weather.

I've seen a couple of people mention on here about using it through a water fed pole trolley system with a pole and brush. Seems a much better method than we're currently using, but I really don't know where to begin looking at compatible products. Could we use a Gardiner SLX or similar, for example?

Would the high strength acid corrode the trolley set up or pole and brush or are they pretty resistant to chemical application?

your main issue would be the hose, Im not sure it would take the acid, I think it would just melt.
