Title: Lombardini panel dashboard
Post by: CleanerCarpets on May 13, 2017, 09:58:48 am
Just getting an LD 350 ready to start working with.

Its a 2015 with key start. It will start on the key and runs very sweetly though I've only run it for a short time. Oils all ok

When i turn the key i get no lights come up on the dash. I checked the oil pressure switch and found the spade connector had come out of it, pushed it back in and now when i turn the key one notch the oil light lights up as it should.

But i still have no OK lit or the other one which is the battery light i think.

I've charged the battery cos the machines been stood a little bit - left it charging for a few hours but don't think its charging properly - the charger read just under 2 amps when i put it on and after about 6 hours still said the same.

Could the battery be knakered and is that connected to the 2 lights on the dash not lighting up?

That battery light must come on...it excites the Alternator. Then above 13+ volts it will go out the alternator will then be charging.

Thanks Chris

So the battery light should come on with the oil light when the key is turned but the engine isn't cranked/running?

If mine isn't, is that a sign the battery isn't any good like i thought?

Does the green OK light come on when the engine is running?
