how many hours a week do you work these days mate?im down to around 25 -30.as long as i turn over 40k+ a year im happy! :)
-
I think 30 is more than enough actual physical work. Amazing the amount of work you can get through in that time.
This week I've worked
Mon - 9 to 5 (stayed out and destroyed the worksheet)
Tue - 9 to 1:30 (thought I'd take it easier after yesterday)
Wed 9 to 11:30 ( sun was shining and I decided to go out on my bike)
Thur 9 to 12:30 ( finished off the last of my windows for the week)
Fri 9 to 12 ( one of job came in)
About 20 hours
Normally around 25 was just a quiet week for me normally aim for 9-2 ish

Hey Daz , I only do about 4 hours a day now , but i am definately getting stamina back , and i just got told that i shouldnt need the heart op for at least another year , so thats a bonus in itself .
I still dont do any of the extras , cant say that i miss them to be honest !
Dont get to 40K , im a man that works with an air of leisure about him ;D

Hi Adam , i just looked at your site and see you valet too , i take it that you dont do windows every minute of the day , is this choice to make room for the motors , or is w/c an add on to a previous valet biz ?

No I stared out valeting. I struggled for a few month until finding windows. I then started doing carpets, pressure washing, utters and connys. BUT it's all going to be given up when I have enough windows. I find all the extras generally isnt adls profitable and too much faff.
I hate valeting cars and only take on the odd job. Its hard work and less profitable than windows. I wouldn't recommend it but it pays the bills for now.

Sorry to hear that mate , not nice , although i have not really treated my body like a temple over the years , my heart is how it came , just unlucky i guess , my 8 year old daughter has the same defect which was picked up at birth , mine only got found because i had the stroke , which itself was caused by my dodgey ticker , im thinking of changing my name to LUCKY ;D

What heart defect do you have?
I was born with a pulmonary valve stenosis.
It hasn't required surgery just monitored every 2 years but it might need surgery at somepoint. Last check up I was told it was borderline.
Ticking time bomb eh

Adam , I have enlarged aortic stenosis from birth , but the valve is bicuspid instead of tricuspid , its extremely rare !
I have yearly checks , but valve replacement will be needed at some point if it keeps growing bigger .
