Hello all,

I write articles on various business topics and wanted to know your first hand feedback on what it was like starting your own cleaning business (particularly within the domestic market).

I would be very grateful if you could help me get an understanding on the following questions you faced:

1. What were your top 3 issues you faced when you started your own cleaning company?
2. What's your biggest challenge now you're up and running as a business?
3. Which thing would you do different, which would have saved you countless hours and pain, in hindsight?

1.  Lack of funds (zero), lack of self confidence, lack of knowledge
2.  Growing it, employing etc
3.  Canvassing - i would have spent hours and hours doing this rather than wasting money on leaflets and other marketting
