Title: Telescopic pressure washing lance
Post by: simon w on April 24, 2017, 05:44:08 pm

Can anyone recommend a telescopic pressure washing lance including the brand and best place to buy from. A link would be very useful also.  It's to be used to on gutter fascia soffit cleans low pressure with a fan jet to take the first layer of grime off before we use WFP and degreaser to deep clean and then rinse off.

Thanks

I think Ben at Rutland pumps sells them but best to check, he did have a few clx poles in his unit when I was there for soft washing set up but would be easy for him to fit a pressure washing nozzle on the end, some hp hose for the pole with a fitting on the bottom

I have been searching around on the net to see whats available and will probably avoid the usual yellow fibre glass and aluminium ones as reports suggest they are very whippy and heavy.

Would only get used on some GSF cleans just to remove the majority of surface dirt/grime before we deep clean with degreaser via water fed pole.

Has any one got the Streamline Powerpole 25 feet? I have had a quote for the complete package and may visit them next week to take a closer look, seems to be one of the lighter better built set ups I've found so far.

I will give the DIY route some thought but if the above turns out to be fit for purpose I'll probably order one.

We use one from what you are suggesting but it's hard to control at full length we stopped using it and now use an X-jet to  pre-soak, a pencil jet fitted to a lance  might be an alternative

For me I found using a washer telescopic lance for fsg's a lot more hassle than it was worth. Not only that if the pressure/flow was too high could easily damage plastics, blow trim off, make joints leak, force water into the roof space etc.  If attempting to clear blocked downspouts and clear out guttering could  also blow the plastic swan necks apart. Not to mention can make a hell of a mess and blow end caps off too...Oops!

Now I prefer the wfp softwash route and spray bleach everywhere instead... Yehaa! ride em cowboy lol

Anyone recognise this lance? Bought it cheap of eBay but can't work out how the jet fits.
