I will be getting a new pup in the New Year and it will be trained for Dutch KNPV i.e police type training but also for mantrailing on-call volunteer work to help find missing people etc..... Would be intrested in hearing from anyone that has or does take their dog to work with them.

Always.
Was taking to a dog walker and warned me, dog theft is at an all time high.
She said, cos my dogs have still got balls, they were at a higher risc.
Then there is the nasty nasty dog fighting. The thought of my dogs getting ripped apart made me think

Some afternoons mine comes with me, although with early starts I try not to work them

Why would you take a dog to work? Scruffy malting poop machine sat in the van all day stinking the place out leaving hairs everywhere. Panting and breathing at you whilst driving and trying to eat your lunch.
I'm not an animal person as you can gather.

i cant see how taking your dog to work benefits anyone really apart from dog lover customers(not everyone likes dogs!)
