Title: Auto locking doors
Post by: Lee GLS on April 22, 2017, 05:37:20 pm
Just got a new van, Citroen dispatch, but the rear doors lock every time I start driving, does anyone know if there is a way of switching this off? It's going to be really annoying when I'm working

Try holding down the central locking button down for a few seconds when driving. That's how it's activated, it may be the same to turn off

That stops the front doors locking but not the rear doors

Chances are it'll be on the settings screen in front of you (it is on mine)
Come out of the trip computer have have a look at 'convenience settings' or some thing similar and you'll find a settings menu for locks
(I'm sort of guessing at this but I'd assume most new vans are the similar in regards to this stuff)

You get use to it. Plus you have that added security in case you forget to lock up yourself .

Mine does it too , it can be turned off , if you have a menu button on the dash you just scroll through the menu to auto close , it then comes up as travelling on/off , turn it off , bobs yer uncle !
