Title: oily marks left by blue tac on walls and black marks
Post by: Mrs Nicholls on June 06, 2006, 06:26:44 pm
Hi All
Does anyone know how to get the oily marks left by blue tack, off a matt painted wall?

Also, there seems to be a lot of marks, up the stairs, black scuff marks mainly, is there anything that will remove these?

Thanks

VERY FUNNY!!

is there nothing that will shift it?

i get the feeling that the new paint wouldn't settle on the oily patches anyway.

Lisa,

First try using a "sponge eraser " and a little water, its made by a company called Duzzit, and then use a product called " Bio-Ox Citrus Concentrate" in a light dilution with water.

Cream cleaner might do it, but with matt paint you'll probably take off paint , regardless of what you use.

I've heard WD40 is good for removing blue-tack marks, but don't quote me on that I've never tried it myself.
