I don't want to get to the position where iv got to work bank holidays. If I ever get too much work , il just put my prices up and lose a load and keep it at a minimum. Really don't want to work more than 20 days a month including Saturday mornings  doing this job

I like finishing either thursday or friday for the long weekend most weeks. So im not giving up those days by not working the odd bank holiday mondays that crop up.

I try not to follow what those parasitic financial institutions do but it's raining.
But Jesus sacrificed himself and there's rugby on telly so I might have to compromise my principles.

I'm an altar server - it's a habit I've got into so, I'm busy this weekend.

You need to alter 'alter' so that it's 'altar'.

Good spot!
In truth I'm an Atheist thank God! So I'm off to do a bit of milking my cash cows in a moment.

I've altered the alter bit so it now reads altar instead of alter.

I never work bank holidays as I'm virtually part time these days (usually 4 days a week).
I used to be so skint that I felt I had to work bank holidays or I'd be on the streets homeless.thankfully that was a long long time ago now. ;D

Happy easter chaps.

That's as maybe but when my booster pump packed up Thursday night, pure freedoms couriers don't work good Friday or bank holiday Monday.  It can be delivered Saturday at an extra cost of course. Robbin bar stewards

I used to treat bank holidays as normal working days when I lived in the UK, and no-one batted an eyelid.

Over here in Ireland, unless the work is pre-booked, residentials are a big no-no.

I did a few shops on Friday,  a couple more on Saturday that were closed plus some residentials that were booked in advance.

Monday will be a day off for me. I'm beginning to warm to the idea of taking a chill day now and then.

John.

I like bank hols. I use them as a way to force myself to take a day off because usually the only chance of a day off is when it rains.

The swivel base handle makes easier work of cleaning high windows as I prefer using them to make life easier on higher work.
