Got a 350 tank from Purefreedom and now need to strap it down proper like so it doesn't squash me missus wi her mad driving. How do I do it ?
Thanks for any replies.

should have gone for 500 ltrs !
-
Before getting it fitted properly (securely bolted down) I would fill it up first to see if the arse starts dragging along the floor. lol

Please tell me this is a joke, right?

Why whats funny ? Wife cant drive the van so bought her a tank for the car ?
-
Woah that looks like it would ruin the car in no time with the weight
-
Velcro should do it.

You want to put a 350 tank weighing over a third of a ton in the back of a family car? And you have a van? Remind me why your wife cannot drive it.

Think your being a drama queen ya big girl. Just cos er got a bog tank dont mean we gonna fill it
innit !
I want her to feel the full joyful experience of driving round town with a sloshing tank in the back !

Thank you for your inciteful/insightful post. :D
You forgot to address my question as to why she cannot drive a van?

I'm sure you will get on with using the car just fine as long as it's not overloaded and the tank, reels etc are made secure.

It's the wife I worry about being secure !

Is there hooks in the back like wha tyou get in a real van ?
-
Why are you asking us when you can see for yourself surely?
Anyway if there were I would not trust them myself. Take it to a fabricator/garage as I'm sure they could knock up a frame and bolt it securely through the floor for you. Depends on the design of frame you want could also include fixings for a battery box, pumps, hose reels etc mounted on the top of the tank.

Picasso doesn't have reinforced side wall tyres or load rated. No bulhead, it will put a strain on the engine , suspension and brakes. It will flood your footwell if it leaks. It's not really practical but it's your car so up to you

Is this a joke.

Even Vauxhall Astra vans are hopeless with weight in them and they are so called van,I know a windy who's had every spring and shock replaced on his van. They look like a van but with car suspension I would never dream of putting a tank in a car that's crazy.

You would if you were skint !

Man's gotta do what a man's gotta do. I would slide it forward to get over the rear axle. Wouldn't put more than 200 litre and strap I down.
-
I would find the wife a different job! ;D

Have u lost ur licence samson, otherwise why don't u drive the van. Would be a joyful day out working with the Mrs. This way u could use the van and avoid destroying ur car
Am with some of the above, it can be done..... But the tank fills the back of the car and poles will go in somewhere but I can't see anywhere to put the reels.
350 litres full so let's say 250, it's not guna last that long

No, but I have just seen my mechanic and he is going to put some bolt strapings in to the car so she can get going ;D
