Iam about to change over to wfp, because i work on my own and wondered can you clean top leaded windows with it? and will customers notice if you clean the tops wfp and bottoms trad?
-
Hi Toff. WFP is great on leads, you wont be doing bottoms trad. If there traditional leaded lights just keep an eye out for leaks were the cement between glass & lead has dryed out, if its stick on lead, no prob, you will love em. ;D ;D ;D

If it's stick on then be careful.
I did one last week where the lead wasn't stuck properly and started to pull it off.
Thankfully the customers weren't the moody type.
It was a 1st clean aswell :-\

WFP is tops for leaded, if your brush drags the lead strips off, you can be sure your scrim will do so also :'(
And there is no way once you start that you'll be doing tops WFP and bottoms trad, its 4 or 5 times faster to do them WFP.

Ian is right it,s almost as wfp was made for leaded windows, never had a problem with leaded and wfp.

have been a wfp user now for 2months, very pleased with the outcome, the leaded windows are coming out very good, better than trad,(and can still do them in this heat)....
