i have been asked if I could pressure wash a large drive way it is more like a runway .big house in its own grounds its going to be a venue for their daughters wedding. I very much suspect they have already had quotes firstly I don't own a pressure washer secondly i would not know what to charge .some thing is telling me to avoid but just out of curiosity the drive way is about 2oft wide snakes round 200ft opens out 50 ft sq what sort of pressure washer would be need and what to charge i am up in west Yorkshire

Mate if your gutts telling you to avoid and you have no idea what machine, how to clean it etc and how much to charge then go with your gutts mate.
Or sub it to someone who can, if you know anyone in that trade perhaps. Especially if its a big job.

Why not just ask the likes of big nozzle to sort it for you? https://www.youtube.com/user/BlastAwayManchester/videos
I'm sure when he turns up with two lwb vans, 4 workers and 2 falch hot pressure washer trailer rigs the custard will be impressed. But not so much with the price I'm thinking. lol

Dave f.
Im in wakefield and have a decent ish pressure washer you can borrow for a rental charge or possibly sub the job off you.
Give me a shout if you want me to have a look
Thing is its very much dependant on what machine you have available and the level of cleaning required as to how long it will take. For exame I don't own a rotary so it might take a long time with a turbo lance only. If you had a rotary available you could price it accordingly.
Or if you just want an idea of pricing put some pics up or email them.

Walk away. Go by your gut.
If you already did pressure washing, then fine...but you don't. It snot going to pay unless you hire one and charge a good rate
-
Question is - how would you feel if you cock it up and it's her daughters wedding venue?
If you don't know what your doing then leave it to someone who does
-

If you are serious about pressure washing, contact Nick or Nigel from Smartseal. They have an excellent business going that may help you grow this side of your business.

Or rather than let smartseal cream a bit of the top like steve does, go it alone dave

you would be looking at over £500, i know how you feel, i ould do that. yes you can if you have the right gear, 15-21 Lpm Pressure washer, have you got around £1000 for such a setup, if you do and you have TIME seriously think about it. i used to do it, but windows more demand now. id be behind with my rounds. but i did love it. everyone was impressed with my beast machine, eating through the dirt.
memories ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D
