I've got about circa £1400 to spend on a machine that has to include wand and hoses, i have everything else covered.
What am i best off getting if it's available at the time? Unfortunately funding and or a loan is out of the question.
Funds for van and everything else also covered

cheap low spec machine brand new?? no youll soon realise its limitations and regret it and have to upgrade........
good priced better machine off e bay?? you ,may drop lucky but its a big risk in my opinion......
go on the for sale section on here, look for a machine for sale from a well known operator and advertise that your after one.......
personally id go for the third option if you dont want to lease a new machine from the off and start with a top bit of kit!!!!

I always bought brand new machines for years Extracta Excel(heavy) Ashbys Ninja(nightmare to move up steps) and now I been buying second hand Alltec machines for last 6 -7 years. Secondhand is great as long as you can fix machines yourself. The last deals I've had on ebay have been for Alltecs Advance with hoses and wand for about £600. The bad news though is they dont come up on ebay that often. But like I said second hand is great because generally the carcass lasts years and its just a matter or renewing motors. Just had a quick look and theres an Alltec Proplus on ebay but for me its a bit of a dated machine and a bit of a nightmare to repair,

is the alltec not heavy like the extracta machines ,I was thinking about the enforcer with the steam mate in it but that's heavy too what do you get ????????

I know where there's a airflex mini pro 220 psi twin vacs inline 2 kw heater wand and hoses going for 1300

the Extracta Excel is slightly heavier and also has the problem of difficult to change motors etc like the Alltec Proplus.. Its difficult if you're needing a machine like yesterday. I've always bought my secondhand machines when I havent needed them and just kept them for when I do. Try Gumtree, Swapz or whatever else.
