Just bought a new SLX 22 and there is a rattling noise when I'm working(more so at height) and not so noticeable when Cleaning ground floor.
I previously had the older version with older style clamps. Could it be the clamps or is it the actual hose rattling through the pole (I have a pvc all season hose through the pole to a backpack/trolley) I must be going mad as I never noticed the rattle previously
-
Perhaps theres a mouse in it?
-
Loose flange?
-
The hose tends to make a slapping sound rather than a rattle but it is more noticeable when working with the pole extended as there's more of it in the pole
-
That's it! A slapping noise from the hose. Thanks M and C. I never noticed it before funny enough.
I've had a look for a mouse (perhaps one of Micky's ancestors got in there) or rat but can't seem to see one Lol ;)

Loose flange? It sounds like a rattle but could also be the flapping sound. Guess I will get used to it
-
Usually the hose or the main flange bolt imo
If you've ruled out the flange must be hose.

I like flange

I reckon the flange.

The looser the better?

Nothing worse than a rattly flange.
-
Rattle snake perhaps 😆

Or a flange that has a mouse stuck in it Lol
