Post by: mlscontractcleaner on March 01, 2017, 08:00:26 am
Morning folks.

Im after an upgrade on my current portable machine; I've been reading about these machines and was wandering what the general opinions were on them.

Many thanks.

im in my third year with a storm and its been fantasic, one vac changed in that time, never let me down at all and it gets used really hard. prob due the other vac changing now as well, so noy bad considering how much its earnt me!!!! I dont have a bad word to say about thier machines ( i started out with the turbo) or indeed the service you get from themit seems the other main suppliers to look at are alltec and ashbys, users of those machines will no doubt comment later.......... dont think you will go far wrong with any of them tbh!!!

We've sold lotys of Storms, brilliant machines. So easy to change vacs and pumps when needed.

Wow that's encouraging, thank you.

I'll take a look at the other two.

No mention of Prochem; any reason for that?

Proechem are good machines very robust. If you are handy at fixing then you could buy one anywhere and fix things yourself. If not then deal with a local supplier who can help you out when things go wrong.

Yip, Can't go far wrong with an Airflex. I've owned two and would buy another if and when I come round to getting another machine.

Very well built, easy to change parts, lots of power and looks the part.

Been cleaning carpets over 20 years now, had several machines and although I had lots, and I do mean lots of teething problems with the Storm, it is by far the best machine I've ever used

Still think the Storm should have a handle on the front!
